Last Monday the VESTING Board ’18-’19 was announced. You have heard their names, but that was about it. Therefore they introduce themselves another time.

Ilse Thomson

Secretary
Hello dear VESTING Members,
My name is Ilse and hereby I announce that I will be the secretary of the VESTING Board 2018-2019. For those of you who don’t know me very well, I will shortly introduce myself. I am 20 years old and I am a second year econometrics student. Besides studying you can find me at Albertus Magnus, which I joined this year. Furthermore, I like to play sports and I like to travel. In the past years I have been active in multiple committees. I joined the Sports Committee and the Freshmen Symposium Committee. I am really looking forward to participate in the 29th board and I am sure it is going to be a great year!

Sander de Vries

Treasurer
Dear VESTING Members! I am Sander de Vries and I am very glad to be the candidate treasurer of the 29th VESTING Board. For those who do not know me, let me introduce myself. I am 20 years old and born and raised in the most beautiful city of Groningen. During secondary school I used to be a fanatic badmintonplayer and trainer, but nowadays I find my joy in some recreational squash and swimming.  Next to this, I am a big fan of movies and series and when I have some time I take philosophy courses.
Already in the third year of Econometrics & Operations Research I am very familiar with VESTING and its members. During my first year I was a member of the Sports Committee and the Freshmen Symposium Committee and currently I am responsible for the International Programme Committee, with whom I will travel to Beijing in the last week of May! Some of you may also know me from the Introduction Weekends or SPAA Meetings, of which I was mentor in both 2016 and 2017.
I will not only be responsible for the VESTING Budget, but of course also for the AI Fifty Cent Shop. Although you can wake me up in the middle of the night for some Avocado or Dors, it is my goal to add at least one healthy and preservable product to the product range. I am very much looking forward to work together with Tom, Anne, Ilse and Femke on what I hope to be an unforgettable year.
If you would like to know more about me or just have some suggestions for the Fifty Cent Shop, please feel free to visit me and the others in the VK!

Femke van Essen

Internal Affairs
Hello dear VESTING Members,
I’m Femke van Essen and it is my pleasure to announce that I’m going to be VESTING’s 29th Intern Coordinator.  For those of you who do not know me, I will introduce myself.  As a nineteen year old and a second-year student, I am the Benjamin of the group. However, after participating in 3 very fun committees in my first year and currently being part of the Data Analytics Team, I’m confident that I’m able to do this job together with my great fellow board members! (Even though I’m the only AC’er between four SC’ers.)
When I’m not studying, you can find me at the student association Albertus Magnus, where I also attend the women’s choir. Besides, I like to play soccer, to go surfing and snowboarding, and I try to work out at the ACLO from time to time. With my love for food, it will be dangerous working very close to the Fifty!
I can’t wait to start this year as member of the VESTING Board and I’m sure it will be unforgettable!

Anne Dumoulin

External Affairs
Dear VESTING Members,
My name is Anne Dumoulin and I will be the External Affairs Coördinator of the 29th VESTING Board. I am currently twenty years old and a third year econometrics student. In my second year at VESTING I have been the chairman of the Sports Committee and this is my third year in the Magazine Committee. Besides my activities at VESTING I am a second year member at Albertus Magnus and I play tennis at the TAM for three years now. I am looking forward to the upcoming year enormously together with the candidate board ’18-’19 and I am sure we are going to have an amazing year!

Tom Greeven

Chairman
Dear VESTING Members,
On the 8th of January me and my board were announced as the 29th board of VESTING. My name is Tom Greeven and for the people who don’t  know me that well, I would like to introduce myself.
At the moment, I am a 22-year-old third-year econometrics student. Besides studying I like doing other activities as well. For example,  I play hockey at G.C.H.C. in the team H9 and play tennis at the TAM. I like to play a game of squash and swim in the ACLO swimming pool as well. Furthermore, I am a fourth-year member of Albertus Magnus. At last, I love surfing in the summer, during which time I teach in Vlieland and Zandvoort. When it is possible I love to travel and surf outside the Netherlands.
Besides, I am still very proud of my VESTING Career, which started with the SC Committee, then the Introduction Weekend Committee and currently I am still doing the Conference Committee.
The last few weeks I have been busy forming my board and I’m very glad that we were announced last Monday. We are very eager to make it a great year!
