Chairman
Dear VESTING Members! My name is Lucas Peek and I will be the Chairman of the 34th VESTING Board. For those who don’t know me yet, I will give a short introduction of myself. I am 20 years old, originally from Utrecht and currently in my third year as an EOR student. I have been an active member of VESTING for the past few years, starting with the Introduction Weekend Committee in my first year, then becoming the Chairman of the Weekend Trip Committee in my second year, and I am currently a member of the International Program Committee. Outside of VESTING, I’m also an active member of the student rowing association G.S.R. Aegir. I have really enjoyed my time with VESTING so far and am looking forward to this upcoming year. See you all in the VK!
Treasurer
Hi VESTING Members! My name is Roos Speel and I will be the treasurer of the 34th VESTING Board! I am 20 years old and a third-year EOR student. Currently, I am a member of the Conference Committee, which I enjoy very much. Furthermore, I love to hang out, party, and play board games with my club, roommates and friends. I beat everyone at Rummikub (so far ;)), so I hope some of you can beat me some time in the VK. I am really looking forward to getting to know all of you better and see you soon in the VK and the Fifty!
Secretary
Dear VESTING Members, my name is Jochum Popkema and I am excited to announce that I will be the next Secretary of the 2023-2024 VESTING Board. For the ones that don’t know me yet, I would like to introduce myself. I am 21 years old and currently a fourth-year econometrics student. In my first year of the studies I have been a member of the Weekend Trip Committee. Besides VESTING, I am a member of R.K.S.V. Albertus Magnus and G.S.V.V. The Knickerbockers. In my spare time I like to have a drink with friends and play some card games. Also, I am a big sports fan! I love to play (or watch) a game of football and enjoy going to the gym. I am really looking forward to being a member of the 34th VESTING Board and I hope to see you all soon at our activities/socials or at the VK!
Internal Affairs Coordinator
Dear VESTING Members, my name is Joep Nieuwenburg and I will be the Internal Affairs Coordinator of the VESTING Board 2023-2024. I am 21 years old and currently in the third year of the bachelor. I have not been an active member at VESTING for long but I was a member of the amazing Hitchhiking Committee. I am also a third year at G.S.R. Aegir and even though rowing did not turn out to be one of my talents I do like to hang out with the people I met there. Next to that I also like to play squash, chess or watch How I Met Your Mother. I am really excited for next year and hope to see you all in the VK soon!
External Affairs Coordinator
Hi VESTING members! My name is Robbin Muntz and I will be the External Affairs Coordinator of the 34th VESTING Board. For those that don’t know me yet, I will quickly introduce myself. I am a 21 year old who is in his fourth year of EOR and is from the beautiful city of Assen. In my free time I like to chill and drink a beer with my friends, but I also love to play squash and for the last four years have been a member of the rowing association G.S.R. Aegir. The last couple of months I have spent studying in Malaysia and traveling around south-east Asia. I am really looking forward to the coming year and can’t wait to get to know you all better!
Public Relations Coordinator
Dear VESTING members, my name is Ivo Roest and I will be the next years Public Relations Coordinator of the VESTING Board 2023-2024. For the ones who don’t know me yet, here is a short introduction about myself. I am 20 years old and a third-year EOR student. I already did the Freshman Symposium Committee in my first year and I am very excited for the upcoming board year. In my spare time I like to chill with my roommates or with my club members from Albertus. I also like to play football or go to the gym with friends. I am really looking forward to next year and I hope to see you al at VESTING Activities or in the VK.
