On Monday the 5th of January, the 37th VESTING Board was announced. Each one of them has written a short introduction about themselves below:
Joris van den Brink, Chairman
My name is Joris and I am excited to announce that I will be the chairman of the 37th VESTING board. I like to do sports such as; going to the gym, running or playing squash, furthermore I like to hang out with friends or watch movies. Currently I am in my third year of the EOR bachelor. I am looking forward to making a great year together with the rest of the board. I hope to see you soon at socials or in the VK.
Jelle Bokma, Vice-Chairman
Hello everyone, my name is Jelle, and I am excited to announce that I am the candidate vice chairman of the next VESTING board! I’m 21 years old and I am in my 5th year of studying econometrics. In my spare time I like to hang out with some friends, play some football, or play cardgames. I am very excited for next year and hope to see you all soon!
Niek Seller, Treasurer
Hi everyone, my name is Niek and I am the Candidate Treasurer of the 37th VESTING Board. I am 21 years old, originally from Utrecht and currently in my third year of the BSc EOR. I have done several committees at VESTING and since this year I started to football again at G.S.V.V. The Knickerbockers. I am also a member at A.G.S.R. Gyas where I am also in my third year. In my spare time I like to hang out with friends and play cards.

Jelmer Hof, Internal Affairs Coordinator & PR
Hello, my name is Jelmer Hof and I am 22 years old. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Econometrics, Operations Research and Actuarial Studies, with a specialization in Actuarial Studies, Financial Econometrics, and Data Science. In my free time, I am very active in sports, as I am currently training for a marathon and plan to complete a full Ironman in the future. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family. In addition, I work at Holland Casino Groningen, where I am employed both as a croupier and in the slot machine department.
Xavier van der Leest, External Affairs Coordinator
Hey everyone, I am Xavier, 3rd year bachelor student and extremely enthusiastic to be the candidate External Affairs Officer in the 37th VESTING board. Besides my studies you may have seen me teaching the Programming tutorials, at the squashlanes of ACLO with my committee or out in the city with either my club or housemates. I love to travel a lot and enjoy the summertime the most. I am exited to get to know you all so don’t be afraid to contact me, ill see you in the VK!
